Our New Hobby

After talking about it for several weeks, Alan and I decided to invest in a new hobby... We went out and purchased bikes! We went to Richardson Bike Mart and "test drove" several different styles and both ended up with a Trek 7100. Now this is the first time in over 15 years that I have ridden a bike, and let me tell you, I was definitely a little rusty! After a few minor wipeouts, I was up and riding again. Alan looked like a natural up on his bike. I'll take pictures, so you guys can laugh at us.

Here's what my new bike looks like. Alan's is the same except it's blue and silver.
If anyone's interested in hitting the trails, let us know. We'd love to have the company!

Liz's Shower

Last week, I attended a bridal shower for my friend's fiance'. Liz is marrying my friend Josh, who I went to high school with. We had a great time at the shower including making her wear this silly hat made of bows.

Megan Elizabeth Parish was born on August 23, 2007 to Alan's cousin Amanda and her husband John. Congratulations!!

Jackson Hole, WY

We had a great time in Jackson Hole. I couldn't believe how much stuff there was to do there (even in the summer). My favorite thing was the white water rafting. Unfortunately, we couldn't get any pictures of that!

Melissa and Jody's Wedding

Alan's cousin Melissa married Jody in Jackson Hole, WY on June 30th, 2007. It was a wonderful destination wedding as you can see by the pictures.
